    GCE e-spec

I think the e-spec is great if you wish to look at the specification etc online, however, I am disappointed that you cannot copy and edit large chunks of it. I have a Sixth Form Handbook which I give to my Lower 6 students at the start of the course. It tells the students about the structure of the course, specification etc. I wished to update it to take account of the changes to Decision Mathematics and Further Mathematics, but you cannot copy these sections from the e-spec! With the old specification (in Adobe) you could do this and it is a bit of a pain to be honest. Any suggestions would be apprectiated.

Thanks for your feedback and sorry that you've found this frustrating. We plan to include the PDF version of the specification in an updated version so that you'll be able to edit that. We're also looking to improve the technology to address this issue more satisfactorily in future versions.

But you can get it as a PDF.

    Visit http://www.edexcel.com/gce2008/maths/8371/Pages/as.aspx

and open the Specification document where you can download it as a PDF.

If you can't see how to do this then get back in touch.
