    New sets of IAA's

Does anybody know when the new IAA's will actually be released? At the recent meeting, we were simply told that it was the summer term, half of which had already passed. After pressing they still would not specify a week or date.

It is now the 8th of July and we have less than 2 weeks of the summer term left.  Any news on when the new IAAs are being published.  At the meeting in early June we were told that they would be published in time for us to see them and adjust our SOWs this term.  Please can we have a date at least.  I thought that they had been worked out and trialled so they were almost ready for publication - has there been a problem??

As I write this message I am on the phone to Edexcel asking the same thing as you are (I have now been on the phone for 22 minutes and have been passed from pillar to post, following many non-replies of my enquiries in the past few weeks).  No-one seems to know exactly when they will be published even though I have pointed out that since many schools run the Science and Additional Science in series (Y10 to Y11), next academic year our year 10s will have completely finished the Science and therefore the IAAs will not be based on last year's work!

Oops, it's now 25 minutes and the outcome is...they will call me back! Aaahhhhhh.  Is anyone else frustrated with the admin side of Edexcel?????

I rang the Edexcel helpline today - I got through to someone quite quickly but the trouble is you ask the question, someone then goes and asks someone else and a long time later you get an answer - but how frustrating (and annoying) to keep having the question and answer relayed like that.  I was eventually put through to my local admin centre (London) and spoke to a helpful person.  He came back with the answer that they should have been on the site by now but there had been some kind of mix-up.  He told me that they are now due on Monday.  Curiously he asked me to ring back if they were not there then!!!  It would be nice if the website was updated with info  "......appearing here shortly"has been up for weeks.  Just how long is "shortly"????  Are there not subject specific officers who can answer questions any more?

Apologies for lack of information. I'll follow up and post dates and links etc when I have them.

    Hello again.

I've ben reliably informed that the updated IAAs will be available from Monday. I will post here again then with links to the relevant web page for those that don't know where they are available.

The updated IAAs are now available on the 360 website. I have copied the links in below. As before, you will need your Edexcel username and password to access the documents.
