GCE Applied ICT AS - Sources of information - journals

Does anyone know of any good journals I could recommend to my students to use for their research into unit 1 (Online Services and Life in the information age) of the Applied ICT GCE? I'm finding it difficult to get students to vary their sources to things outside of Wikipedia.

Have you tried videos that may be on the Teachers tv or the  bbc web site. Teachers TV has one on the Digital Divide that I've used snipits from.

    Hi Andy

Could you possibly provide a link to the Digital Divide video - only of course if it is convenient for you. There are so many on Teachers TV. Thanks

This is the one I used with my students. its called Africa goes digital. You need to watch it first before you go through it with your students. It's a bit long, but contains some useful/interesting info.

If you create yourself an account with teacherstv you can download the video.
