To obtain an account, contact the Edexcel Online administrator in your centre or call our online support team using the details on our ‘contact us’ page at www.edexcel.com/contactus.

How do I get an Edexcel account?
You can either contact the Edexcel Online administrator in your centre who will be able to register you, or you can contact our online support team directly using the details on the ‘contact us’ page at www.edexcel.com/contactus. This team will take you through a security process to verify that you are a member of staff at your school at college, after which you will be registered and your details emailed to you.

What is Edexcel Online?
Edexcel Online is a secure website that can be accessed only by authorised staff at centres that work with Edexcel. It allows our customers to upload, view and amend data on their candidate registrations and entries, to order our publications online and to obtain a full breakdown of their centre’s results for recent examinations - plus many other useful services. For more information, contact the Edexcel Online administrator in your centre.

Why can't I apply for a Communities from Edexcel account online?
For the time being, our forums are restricted to staff at schools or colleges and are not open for contributions from the general public, although most areas can be viewed by anyone browsing to the site. Because of this restriction, you need to apply for an account via your Edexcel Online administrator or by calling us so that we can ensure that access to the service is not given to unauthorised users.

How do I log in to the Edexcel Communities area?
You can browse all threads and posts without logging in or having an Edexcel Online account, but in order to join a discussion and post a comment, you will need to log in.
Your login details for Communities from Edexcel will be the same as those you use for Edexcel’s other online services such as Edexcel Online or ResultsPlus.

I’ve already logged in - why am I being asked to log in again?
To keep your account secure, your logged-in status expires after 20 minutes of inactivity on our website. You will be prompted to log in again if you want to contribute further to a forum after that time.

I've forgotten my password. What do I do?
If you are having trouble remembering your Edexcel password, it may help you to recall that it will contain at least one numerical character. If this doesn’t jog your memory, you can request a new password using the 'Forgotten password' link in the text on the Communities homepage. You can also use the ‘forgotten password’ link that appears on other Edexcel login screens. We will send a new password to your email address straightaway. When you receive it, we suggest you log in to your account and change the password to something you will remember more easily.

What will Edexcel do with my details? We will ensure that any personal details you enter when you sign up will remain confidential.
