To all teachers of GCSE09 Art and Design

Just in case you have not seen this letter it is one which has been sent  recently to all GCSE centres. The letter was sent in response to a number of emails and calls which indicate that in some centres there is a level of misinterpretation of the Teacher Guidance in respect of Controlled Assessment in Unit 1 Personal Portfolio in the new specification.

If you have had any doubts around the Controlled Assessment aspects of the course I hope that this letter clarifies these for you.
